Learn the Shim Sham!

What time is it? It's Shim Sham time!
We're excited to run you through the footwork patterns and structure of this popular routine that originated in the 1920's as a tap dance routine, and became restructured for swing dancers in the 1980's by Franky Manning.
This will be a one day, 2 hour workshop! No previous experience required.

Beginner Lindy Hop

This 4 week series is suitable for brand new dancers, those with some experience, or anyone wanting to brush up on their fundamentals.
We'll take you through basic footwork patterns and rhythms, and introduce the lead-follow relationship of swing dancing. The goal by the end of this series is for you to be comfortable and confident on the social dance floor with 6 and 8 count patterns.

Lindy Hop 2

Hello, lindyhopper! This 4 week series is for dancers with some previous basic lindyhop knowledge, or those wanting to brush up their fundamentals.
We will expand your knowledge on common 8-count patterns, musicality, connection, and mixing 6 and 8 count moves on the social dance floor.

Intro to Collegiate Shag

Collegiate Shag (or "Shag") is a partner dance done primarily to uptempo swing and pre-swing jazz music. It belongs to the swing family of American vernacular dances that arose in the 1920s and 30s. In this class, we show you the very basics, connection, and some moves for the social dance floor!
